China will resort to killing coronavirus patients as a way to curb the spread of the deadly virus, the China Republic Health Minister has said.
The Chinese government has gone to court seeking it’s approval to kill the over 20,000 coronavirus patients as it implements drastic measures to curb the virus from further spreading.
The highest court in China, Supreme People’s Court, will on Friday this week make a landmark ruling that will give an approval for the mass killing of coronavirus patients as a means of controlling the spread of the deadly virus that has killed many people.
It its application to the court, the state said China Republic is on the verge of losing its entire health workforce if urgent and painful measures are not undertaken. At least 20 health workers contract coronavirus daily.
While the decision for mass killing of coronavirus patients has attracted condemnation because of ethical reasons, China argues that coronavirus patients admitted at hospitals only have their deaths delayed and continue to infect many others.
China Republic has come under criticism from human rights organisations over the manner in which it responded in dealing with the deadly virus outbreak.
The State argued in court that the country is on the verge of losing its entire citizens if the few affected patients do not sacrifice their lives to the sake of health workers and a billion others as there is no hope of managing the deadly virus.
Several countries have stopped flights to China and others are mulling pulling their citizen out of the virus ravaged country.
Already activities have been paralyzed in China as the State enforced curfew in a bid to curb the spread of coronavirus.
In US, at least 11 cases of Wuhan coronavirus have been confirmed. In China, the virus has killed more than 400 people and it appears to be uncontrollable forcing the state to resort to the painful yet necessary measure of killing of coronavirus patients.
