The leadership wrangles wrecking Jubilee party are bound to escalate in the new year as the party is expected to elect new party officials. Already the Secretary General Raphael Tuju has sounded the warning shot saying the party will vet aspirants to lock out corrupt members from vying for positions. Both TangaTanga and Kieleweke factions will be battling to take control of the party ahead of the 2022 elections. Nominated MP Maina Kamanda has declared interest for the chairmanship post. Kamanda is a fierce critic of Deputy President William Ruto who is the deputy party leader of Jubilee party. The elections slated for early next year will be the acid test the once formidable party grappling with internal wrangles brought about by the handshake
