DP William Ruto has made startling revelation that Raila has invited ICC prosecutor to re-investigate the 2007/2008 post elections violence with a view of apprehending and handing him over to the Hague. That there is no love lost between William Ruto and Raila Odinga is not secret. The two former bosom buddies turn foes have been trading series of counter accusations against each other.

This will not be the first time Raila Odinga is inviting ICC to arrest 2007/2008 post election violence alleged masterminds. in 2009, Raila Odina wrote to ICC Chief Prosecutor Moreno Ocampo demaning for the arrest of Uhuru Kenyatta and William Ruto. The revelations comes barely days after the DCI boss George Kinoti re-opened investigations into alleged Kenya Pipeline scam. Kinoti had sensationally claimed he will not hesitate to arrest Ruto if found culpable.

However, DP said he is not bothered by the political machinations by his competitors since he has always been a soft target since his days in Narc government under President Mwai Kibaki.
Ruto who was speaking Thursday night in an exclusive interview with a leading TV station accused Raila of personalizing their political difference and planting hatred between him and President Uhuru Kenyatta. The DP also took issues with the opposition leader for using BBI as a campaign tool for 2022. Ruto noted that the BBI rallies are a scheme to divide Kenyans and paint others as anti-BBi. In what he hopes will bring inclusivity, Ruto said Jubilee MPs will be joining their ODM counterparts in upcoming rallies.
